Robert Lucas, the Nobel laureate who revolutionized macroeconomics

It is probably no exaggeration to say that Robert E. Lucas Junior, better known as Bob Lucas, was the most influential economist of the past 50 years. I first met him in a department gathering beside the Mississippi river when I joined the PhD program in Economics at the University of Minnesota. My tribute to him.
